Official Statement of Activities, Apolitical Stance and Anti-Discrimination

Syria Relief and Development (SRD) is a U.S. based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. Our mission is to provide crisis humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria.

 

INDEPENDENT ACTIVITIES

SRD is an independent entity and not under the rule or control of any government, non-government or other entity or organization.

 

APOLITICAL STANCE

SRD is a non-political, non-governmental organization that does not collaborate with or condone any government entity or political party. SRD takes no political sides in the current conflict in Syria and maintains a firm and consistent commitment to humanitarian relief for the people who have been affected by the conflict. SRD does not engage in political activities and does not collaborate with political organizations, for or against any government or regime.

 

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

SRD serves Syrians in need regardless of race, religion, color, orientation, creed or political affiliation. SRD will never turn away any person in need in the areas it works and maintains a strong anti-discrimination policy in field offices.
