DONATEMake an Impact this Giving Tuesday
In the midst of the ongoing crisis, every act of kindness can create a ripple of change. This Giving Tuesday, let’s come together to make a profound difference in the lives of those Syrians in need.
Hunger Crisis in Syria:
The World Food Programme (WFP) estimates that 12.1 million Syrians – more than half the population – are in the grip of hunger. As we gather around tables with loved ones, let’s remember those in Syria who don’t have that luxury. Your support can help provide essential food and nourishment to those in need.
Displacement in Northwestern Syria:
Over 12 million people have been displaced in Northwestern Syria due to the conflict, and they are facing harsh conditions and uncertainty about their future. Your contribution can provide shelter, warmth, and a glimmer of hope for these families.

DONATEEmergency Response to the Escalating Hostility
On October 5th, there was an escalation of hostilities in northwestern Syria, with Syrian regime forces and allies targeting residential areas in Idlib and Aleppo. Over 70 locations were affected, including Al-Fardous Hospital in Darat Azza which was briefly evacuated due to heavy bombardment. In the face of an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Syria, we are launching an urgent campaign to extend our help and support to the innocent people fleeing from relentless bombardment. In the first couple days, 6 SRD ambulances responded to 20 war-related injuries, and 4 were transferred to Bab al-Hawa border crossing. SRD also prepared 200 food baskets for distribution to newly displaced individuals at temporary locations, coordinating with other organizations for distribution.
SRD is dedicated to providing vital aid and immediate assistance to those affected by these ongoing hostilities. We aim to provide shelter, food, medical care, and other essential resources to families and individuals who have been forced to leave their homes in search of safety and refuge.
Your generous contributions will support medical care, shelter, and food desperately needed in the area. Join us in making a difference during this challenging period. Your help can save lives and provide a glimmer of light in the midst of darkness.

Join hands with us to reshape the trajectory of education in Syria. According to UNICEF as of 2023, a staggering reality: just 40% of students (equivalent to 120,000 children) are anticipated to achieve the milestone of graduating with a secondary certificate. This vital statistic paints a concerning picture, with graduation rates projected to plummet further to a mere 25% by 2032. In this projection, only 115,000 Grade 12 students are expected to graduate, while a substantial 341,000 students (75%) face the heartbreaking prospect of not completing their secondary education.
One of the biggest barriers preventing our children from accessing quality education: transportation.
The resilient children of Northern Syria have already faced unimaginable challenges due to the impact of war and natural disasters, such as the recent earthquake. Despite these hardships, they are determined to learn, grow, and build a better future for themselves and their communities. The Global School, located just outside Idlib, stands as a sanctuary of learning for 400 elementary students. However, the journey to school has become a significant obstacle, especially for those living in shelters and camps.
Imagine a child’s determination to learn, striving to overcome all odds, yet hindered by the lack of proper transportation. Many students embark on long, arduous treks to reach their schools, often under harsh weather conditions and through unsafe paths. This journey not only jeopardizes their safety but also robs them of precious time that could be spent in classrooms, learning and dreaming.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Your support will not only transform their lives but also contribute to the larger goal of building a resilient, educated, and sustainable future in Northern Syria.

DONATEComputer Lab for Elementary & Middle School Students
In the midst of adversity, a ray of hope emerges for the resilient young souls of Northern Syria. The Global School, located just outside Idlib, stands as a sanctuary of learning for 400 elementary students who have endured the trials of displacement, conflict, and even a recent earthquake. Many among them are orphaned, their lives marked by up to 20 displacements over the past 12 years.
Despite these challenges, their spirit remains unbroken, and now is our chance to make a lasting impact. We are launching a fundraising campaign to establish vital computer labs at the Global School. With 400 eager minds and only limited resources, these labs will provide the lifeline these children need to bridge the gap in their education due to the circumstances they’ve faced.
Our goal is to raise funds for 20 computers at $500 each, a small step that will create a giant leap in these children’s lives. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to providing these students with access to modern technology and a quality education. With computer labs, we aim not only to impart essential digital literacy skills but also to reignite a sense of normalcy and curiosity that every child deserves.
Your generosity will not only provide tangible resources but also send a powerful message of solidarity – showing these young survivors that the world cares deeply for their well-being and future.
Donate today and help us equip the Global School with the tools for a brighter tomorrow! Every contribution matters. Every child deserves a chance.

DONATEAmbulance & Medical Referral System
Our Ambulance and Medical Referral Network faces critical challenges as the grant funding has expired. Without it, the consequences will be dire:
1. Overwhelmed Hospitals: Without our network, hospitals and healthcare facilities will face an increasing burden in providing healthcare services for cold cases, leading to delays and inadequate care for patients.
2. Limited Access to Care: Patients with disabilities and chronic illnesses, such as kidney failure, will find it difficult to access healthcare centers without our ambulances, hindering their chances of receiving timely and appropriate treatment.
3. Shortage of Ambulance Services: The cessation of 24 ambulances from operation will create a severe shortage in the region, affecting partner organizations’ ability to respond to emergencies promptly.
Your donation can be a lifeline for those in need, and with your support, we can achieve the following:
Continued Healthcare Access: Your contribution will help us maintain the ambulance fleet, facilitating medical referrals for patients, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.
Enhanced Care for Vulnerable Individuals: With your generosity, we can ensure that patients with disabilities and chronic illnesses receive the specialized transportation services they require to access healthcare centers without difficulty.
Sustained Relief Efforts: Your support will keep the Ambulance and Medical Referral Network running smoothly, alleviating the burden on hospitals and partner organizations, and ensuring a coordinated response to medical emergencies.
How You Can Help: Join hands with us in this crucial mission of saving lives and providing healthcare services to those in desperate need. Every contribution counts, no matter the size. Here’s how you can make a difference:

DONATEBack to School – Sponsor University Students
Help students in Syria return to school after over a decade of war, natural disaster and destruction.
High school graduates are unable to find opportunities to pursue higher education, and over 2.4 million students are unable to attend school at all. An entire generation’s growth, as well as Syria’s development, is at stake.
Education is a right, not a privilege.
Students who were forced to stop their education are now able to resume their studies at the International University of Science and Renaissance (I-USR), a private, nonprofit, hybrid online/campus-based university.
Help address the essential need for higher education as well as developmental education and training in Syria.
Education plays a vital role in any country’s growth and development, and it is one of the most underfunded sectors in the Syrian response. Health and Medical Sciences, Computer Information Engineering, Economics & Business Administration, and other vital topics are among the 20 undergraduate degrees offered.
YOUR SUPPORT WILL CHANGE LIVES
Your donation to I-USR will allow displaced Syrian students to continue their education, earn a degree, and build their future, as well as the future of Syria. Your help is greatly appreciated.
